Somebody has invented a 'spice bag cocktail'

FOR THE LAST year, the people of Ireland has been entangled in a steamy love affair with the humble spice bag.

So it was inevitable that someone would make a drink based on the takeaway delicacy.

Behold the Spice Bag Cocktail.

The brainchild of The Foxes Rock, a craft beer brewery run out of Newry, Co. Derry, the Spice Bag Cocktail is a potent mixture of Town Branch Rye, homemade passion fruit & mango puree, peach liqueur, lime Juice and chilli.

The cocktails were sold at the recent Taste of Dublin event where they went down a treat.

Unfortunately, the cocktails won’t be available again until February 2017 when they make an appearance at the Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair.

Until then we can dream…
